Travelling by plane
Since Hungary joined the EU many discount airlines introduced cheap air fares to Budapest. You also can choose British Airways or Malev (The Hungarian Airlines). The flight takes two and a half hours from London and approximately three hours from Dublin.

Free Taxi Service for every visit
When you arrive to Budapest our taxi driver will welcome you and take
you to your hotel in the city and also will drive you between your
hotel and the dental surgery for free whenever you need.
Travelling by bus
Until about the end of 2003 travelling by coach was the cheapest option for getting to London from Budapest. As by now there are several daily cheap flights to Hungary from the UK Eurolines and National Express coaches became a less popular solution.
However if you feel uncomfortable flying, you can still choose travelling by coach. The journey time is approx. 22 hours, the ticket prices are similar to the cheap flight ones.

Travelling by car
You can also choose travelling to Hungary by car. You will need a full UK driving license, valid MOT and car insurance (fully comprehensive is highly recommended). We recomment that you check with your insurance company if your insurance covers incidents that happen abroad. Journey time by car from Hungary to the UK is approx. 20 hours with breaks. The full journey would be on well maintaned high ways. All fuel costs would be around £150. Fuel in Hungary is slightly cheaper than in the UK. However travelling to Hungary by car can become dangerous as the wheel in all countries on the continent are on the other side.
